K-Arts MAP은 한국예술종합학교 예술가들의 관계를 하나의 지도로 담아낸 인물 아카이브로, 소속과 전공, 함께한 활동을 따라 서로의 연결을 탐색할 수 있도록 디자인·개발했습니다.
네트워크를 이루는 구형의 시각 요소는 ‘시냅스 오브(Synapse Orb)’로, 신경세포 사이에서 신호를 전달하는 시냅스처럼 사람과 사람의 관계가 이어지는 모습을 표현했습니다. 이를 통해 하나의 이름에서 시작한 관심이 연결을 따라 또 다른 예술가의 발견으로 이어지도록 설계했습니다.
K-Arts MAP is a digital people archive that maps the relationships between artists from Korea National University of Arts. We designed and developed the platform to let visitors explore these connections through affiliations, disciplines, and shared activities.
The spherical network visualization, “Synapse Orb,” draws on the way synapses transmit signals between neurons to express how people connect. Through this experience, an interest in one name becomes a path to discovering another artist.
